          <title>NVQ Assessor - Housekeeping</title>

          <description>Our client is looking for a qualified or unqualified Housekeeping Assessor to join their team in a field based role covering the Hampshire area.

To be considered for this role you must be experienced in the Hospitality Industry and experience must include working in Housekeeping as a Housekeeper or Housekeeping Manager as you will be delivering Housekeeping NVQ's and Apprenticeships.

This is an excellent opportunity to change direction in your career if working in the Hospitality Industry.

It is preferred that candidates already hold an Assessing qualification (A1, D32, D33) although this is not essential as for the right candidate the company will provide all the necessary training and funding for the qualification. Support is also provided to ensure that you become confident and comfortable in your role.

You must also have gained experience working in a Supervisory / Management role.

The ability to communicate well and empathise with people is essential.

Purpose of Role

To work with a learner base of approximately 45 learners and to support qualification attainment.

To maintain an agreed candidate base and meet contract targets of starts and completion rates, demonstrating compliance to all company quality procedures and audit requirements.

Principal Duties

To recruit eligible learners onto funded learning programmes, through own initiative and by working with commercial and government funded referral agencies.

To undertake sign-ups of learners completing necessary administration, carrying out eligibility checks and initial assessments.
To undertake assessments of learners to national standards and to record all assessment decisions in line with the company's and Awarding Body requirements.

          <description>Our client is looking for an Area Manager to join their team in London, particularly covering the boroughs of Lambeth, Wandsworth, Sutton, Merton, Croydon and Kingston Upon Thames. 

It is essential that you have knowledge and experience of Work Based Learning in a Managerial role.

You will be managing a team of Assessors and strong management and leadership style and experience is essential.

Ideally Hospitality should be one of the sectors that the you are familiar with but it is not essential as strong management experience working for a Training Provider or College would be ideal. 
Marketing experience is a must as well as experience of hitting / excelling targets, budgets and profiling that replicates your areas historic performance but satisfies growth plans and SFA contracts. 

You must have an ambitious outlook and have the desire to succeed as you will be working in one the busiest regions for the company. 

Overview of role: 
Accountable for maximising the performance of a designated area within the UK, ensuring all agreed company targets are achieved through effective leadership of the team and by building an environment in which the company can develop and prosper. 

The key General/Financial based responsibilities: 

Ensure that all sign-up and completion targets for all contract areas are met. 
Responsibility for Profit &amp; Loss Management of Area. 
Preparing accurate forecasts and producing reports on performance.
Ensure company KPIs are met. 
Maintain control of costs to ensure profitability levels are maintained. 
Take on projects to work with any other SFA/ESF/DWP vocational training projects that may include pre-employment training and the design and delivery of short courses that utilise National or Local community funding, either as a single contractor or as a sub-contractor and to manage to agreed profiles and financial targets

The key people based responsibilities: 

Leading, motivating and co-ordinating the work of a team of Area Trainers/Assessors including performance reviews
Recruitment and induction

The Stakeholders' / Quality based responsibilities: 
 
Engage with clients/employers on a regular basis, to facilitate new and repeat business. 
Maintain Maytas data accurately
Embed, develop and support the SAR and quality improvement plan as directed by the Regional Manager to meet with Company and OFSTED requirements 

Work with the Development team to progress individuals and the area through the WRAG ratings and to maintain MLP in terms of learner completions 
Ensure that Awarding Organisation quality requirements are maintained
Ensure all Health and Safety management and Equality and Diversity data is up to date. 
Ensure full compliance of the company's safeguarding and Equality and Diversity policies and procedures 
 
Hours: 40 hours per week (Monday - Friday)
Holidays: 25 days per annum
Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 per annum + Benefits, Contributory pension scheme, healthcare benefits and travelling expenses
Reporting to: Regional Manager
Type: Full Time + Permanent
